Is a Support Crew necessary?

Support Crews are essential for 50km teams. When walking that far, the love and care a Support Crew provides makes all the difference to your experience on the day.  

For 35/30/20km teams, it’s not essential to have a Support Crew, but it is recommended. If this is your first Coastrek, we highly recommend it because they will make your day easier and much more fun. We have volunteers and event staff to cheer you on, but there’s nothing like having your mum, partner, best friend or colleagues checking in on you throughout the day and there at the finish line with your favourite drink or treat!
