How busy do the trails get?

At some points of the day, your team may be alone on the trails. At other times, you may find yourselves at a bottleneck with lots of other trekkers, soaking up the Coastrek vibes! This is simply the reality of taking part in a popular event such as Coastrek. 

To make sure everyone has the best possible experience, it’s important we all stay positive, be polite and look on the bright side when trails are busy. Take this opportunity to stop for chocolate, take a selfie and meet other trekkers… it’s all part of the experience!

Important note: All trails have some natural bottlenecks caused by the environment. If however your team is creating a bottleneck on the trail (Selfies! Sock change! Blister treatment etc), please step to the side and allow other teams to pass. We love a good wildlife sighting and photo opportunity too, but in the middle of the path is not the place for it!
