Where does my registration fee and fundraising go?

Coastrek combines fitness and fundraising. 

Your registration fee goes to Coastrek program and event organisers Wild Women on Top, a social purpose organisation who create life changing outdoor adventures. Your fees go towards covering the Coastrek Program, training support, maps, business overheads and your event day experience.

Your fundraising donations go directly to Beyond Blue. Donations help keep the free Beyond Blue Support Service running 24/7, staffed by counsellors, so everyone in Australia can talk things through. Your support means Beyond Blue can continue to answer every phone call, webchat and email. Beyond Blue contributes to some of the cost of running the Coastrek program as part of a social purpose enterprise agreement with Wild Women on Top. Any large-scale social purpose event takes resources to run but the wellbeing and financial benefits to the community are significant.  
 
Beyond Blue acknowledge the health and wellbeing benefits of participating in Coastrek, and the valuable awareness and promotional benefits that arise from promoting Beyond Blue’s involvement and getting people talking about mental health. Beyond Blue appreciate that trekkers or their family and friends often reach out to the Beyond Blue Support Service from hearing about it through Coastrek – so the Coastrek community is an important national promotion/investment.
