Get ready to embark on an unforgettable Coastrek adventure in 2024 along the captivating Northern Beaches of Sydney. The OG Northern Beaches route is back which promises breathtaking views, picturesque headlands, golden sandy beaches, and immersive nature trails. Get ready to revitalise your spirit and connect with nature like never before!
Starting from the iconic Palm Beach, our intrepid 50km trekkers will begin their challenge heading north towards the famous Barrenjoey Headland. You'll race the sunrise and savor the awe-inspiring 360-degree views of the peninsula from the Barrenjoey Lighthouse. After this memorable loop, return to Palm Beach and start your southward journey along the stunning Northern Beaches. The route will take you up over headlands, down to pristine beaches, and back onto headlands – a true sand walking paradise. You'll be grateful for your soft sand training! And don't forget to make a stop at the Newport Luv Stop to recharge.
As you depart Newport, you will experience a touch of street walking before heading back onto the glorious coast for some more beach and bush walking. We highly recommend ankle gaiters and sand resistant shoes to keep out sand and debris.
