Mobile phone: Please make sure you bring a mobile phone so we can contact you in case of an emergency. You can also use maps.me on the day to have the most up-to-date info regarding the trail if any trekkers ask!
Comfortable clothing: Wear something you feel comfortable in! We also encourage our vollies to dress up in something fun if they want to. Just wear closed in shoes and keep in mind that it can get very cold in the morning and it could get wet! We will provide all vollies with hi-vis vests on the day and as a valued volunteer you will be provided with a Coastrek branded cap or fleece buff/beanie (dependent on the weather).
Drink bottle and any additional food: Coastrek will provide you with a snack during your shift and a meal voucher if your shift is scheduled for 4+ hours. You are more than welcome to bring your own food if you want something more substantial or if you have any strict dietary requirements.
A book: There are naturally some quiet moments during shifts so you are welcome to bring along a book or something to keep yourself entertained during this downtime.
