What happens if I have team members withdraw during the event?

For us to take good care of you, you MUST text the Coastrek HQ (contact number on the back of your bib) immediately if you or any team member are withdrawing during the event. Otherwise, we will come looking for you!

If a member withdraws, other team members are not impacted in any way. 

Please note:

• Withdrawn team members will need to find their own way off the course once they have sent a text to HQ to withdraw. 
• If the team member needs first aid assistance, please call or text the emergency phone number on the back of your bib or visit the First Aid area at the closest Luv Stop. If the team member is injured/unwell, always stay with them until help arrives. 
• In case of emergency (e.g. serious injury, breathing difficulty, bushfire) you must call 000. If the team member is injured/unwell, always stay with them until help arrives. 

If your team is reduced to one member during the day or two members at night, our staff will link you up with another team so you can walk together - it's a safety thing!
