50km Route
Starting from the iconic Middle Head, our intrepid 50km trekkers will begin their challenge heading south on the recently opened Middle and Georges Head track. You'll race the sunrise and savor the awe-inspiring views of Sydney Harbour as you make your way along the stunning coastline of Mosman. The route will take you around Bradleys Head, past Sydney’s premier wildlife destination - Taronga Zoo, and to the very tip of Cremorne Point. Don't forget to make a stop at the North Sydney Luv Stop to recharge.
As you depart North Sydney, you will make your way up and onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge. At the other end, you'll enter the bustling Rocks district and the historic heart of Sydney. The route continues through the Royal Botanic Garden and Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, offering unparalleled views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
30km Event (50km route, keep reading…)
The 30km route starts at Rushcutters Bay Park. You’ll start your trek with some road walking through Darling Point, Double Bay, Point Piper and Rose Bay before linking up with the famous Hermitage Foreshore walk. Explore the small hidden beaches and gaze upon the magnificent multi-million dollar mansions, including the famous historic Strickland House.
Have a snack and rest those tootsies at Vaucluse Luv stop before charging on.
20km Event (50km and 30km route, keep reading…)
The 20km journey kicks off at Nielsen Park, Vaucluse. You’ll start your trek with a stunning loop around South Head and historic Hornby lighthouse. From Vaucluse to Coogee, most of the terrain is footpath or trail with just a touch of sand at Bondi, Tamarama, Bronte and Clovelly. Along the way, relish the beauty of the wild seas and stunning steep cliffs. Wind your way along the picturesque Bondi to Manly route in reverse, taking in the magnificent views of Sydney’s East coast to Coogee and you did it!
